Owner and Executive Chef—
Maurizio LoBosco
LoBosco was just 17 when he migrated to U.S. from Palermo, Sicily.
When he first came to Chicago, he began as a dishwasher, and worked in an Italian restaurant before starting his culinary studies at Kendall College to become a chef. When LoBosco heard the restaurant, he started his career at was available, he decided to put his expertise to good use and opened Bella Via in Highland Park. It has been open for 24 years.
