Our men’s lacrosse team takes the 2A title in an incredible 8–4 victory over Kent Island — avenging last year’s state championship loss.

These two programs know each other well, making this win even sweeter. Fueled by determination, resilience, and a season of hard work, our team finished the job and brought home the first men’s lacrosse state championship in school history since the program began in 1995. 💪

From heartbreak to history — this team has etched its way into the books! ☝️

Congratulations to Elijah and Alex as they were honored at the annual Signing Day Ceremony here at Stephen Decatur!

Congratulations to Elijah Collick for winning the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award.

Elijah is a 4x Conference Champ, 4x Regional Champ, and 4x State Champ. He also took 7th in the 2024 NHSCA Sophomore Nationals, 2nd in the 2025 NHSCA Junior Nationals, 4th in the 2025 Super 32 Tournament, and he is currently ranked #11 in the Nation by FloWrestling. Elijah volunteers with the Junior Seahawks Wrestling Club while maintaining a 3.6 gpa. In the Fall, he will be wrestling for the University of Nebraska that just came off of a 3rd place finish at the 2026 NCAA Championships.
