Our Berkley First crew, kids and adults, are rocking VBS this week at the Birmingham First campus. We are dancing, playing games, and showing how God works in us! Can’t wait for more Rainforest Falls tomorrow!

Whatever you call it... don't come to church this Wednesday expecting Anapausis. You'll find Brian White somewhere else in a pair of giant sunglasses instead.

Due to Brian's leadership of the Vacation Bible School band this week (yes, the giant sunglasses are part of the job description), Anapausis will not meet on Wednesday, June 17.

We'll be back to our regularly scheduled worship on Wednesday, July 15, at 6:30 p.m. Until then, keep Brian in your prayers as he helps lead an unforgettable week of VBS, and we'll see you next month!

All ages, life stages, and abilities welcome; hang decorations, cut paper shapes, hot glue and assemble decor, and so much more!

This morning, Pastor Rachael led a Forest Bathing walk at the University of Michigan-Dearborn Environmental Interpretive Center for Birmingham & Berkley First. Despite its name, Forest Bathing has nothing to do with bathing in water. Rooted in the practice of slowing down and intentionally noticing the natural world, it invites participants to engage their senses, be present in the moment, and experience God’s creation with renewed awareness.

For people of faith, Forest Bathing can become a form of prayer—an opportunity to step away from distractions, listen for God’s presence, and reconnect with the rhythms of creation. Through quiet reflection, guided prompts, and unhurried walking, participants were invited to encounter God in the beauty of the woods and garden and the stillness of the morning.
