That's a wrap on Line Items! A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported us and send us love notes! ❤️ It was so wonderful meeting so many new people and spending the weekend talking art!

Line Items was the first time Gay and I showed our work together and the first time I've showed work in a two-person show.

The idea for the show came about when we realized that both our recent work expressed movement through line.

It was such a delight seeing how the pieces worked side by side, how they enhanced one another, and how it their differences danced together... existing in the same universe but being wholly their own. Like songs on the same album or characters in from the same story.

I'll be sharing the paintings on my website soon or you can come by and see them during East Bay Open Studios next month.

I'm so excited to share some new work! If you’re in the San Francisco Bay area, please come out on November 14! I am doing a two person show called Line Items with my good friend and the fabulous artist Gay Heit.

Gay and I often chat about what our art is looking and feeling like when we hang out… And we realized our recent work both explored the magical line. So we’ll be hanging my paintings and her works with paper and clay for a two-person show!

Come on out to see some colorful, minimal, abstract art all exploring the line!

I have been part of the Canopy Program since the fall and we’re gathering for a show in Chelsea that opens tonight! The whole experience with the program was fabulous! i’m so excited for tonight and also a little sad that this chapter is coming to close.

Turns out I do a lot of reaching at the studio. 💃

I’m opening my studio on Friday, May 16 from 5–7:30pm to share a new body of work developed over the past year during The Canopy Program ( )—a year-long course that challenged me to take more risks, dig deeper, and expand my creative practice.

In the past, I’ve participated in open studios and shows, but always as a pop-up in borrowed spaces. This time, you’re invited into my actual studio—the place where all the painting (and experimenting and overthinking and messes) really happens.

Over the year, I followed unexpected threads, made a more than a few failed pieces, and created work I’m truly proud of. Some pieces surprised me. Some flopped. But each one pushed me toward something new.

The work you’ll see reflects a period of focused experimentation—new materials, new approaches, and ideas that have opened up exciting directions in my practice. Some paintings are polished and resolved; others are points of departure. Together, they capture the momentum of a year spent exploring what my art is really about.
