Groups 1, 4, and a family group snowcamped last weekend in the Carson Pass area

This past weekend, three groups (Groups 1, 4, and a family group) went snowcamping in the Carson Pass area, braving very chilly temperatures! One leader measured a low of 5 degrees 🥶❄️ Participants overcame frozen water bottles, dug snow structures, prepared meals, boiled water, and toured their shelters. Our volunteer leaders and assistant leaders set the bar for good cheer despite the cold 😄
