This week's pack: Osprey Aura 65 AG
Color - Rainforest Green

Besides being an incredibly functional through-hiking backpack designed specifically for women, the Aura 65 AG boasts a one-of-a-kind suspension system. Dubbed anti-gravity, this configuration allows for uninterrupted airflow to the back while keeping the load on the hips and shoulders, where it should be.

Happy President's Day! This week's pack is a North Face trekking backpack from the 1970s. Its around 40L in capacity with two large tube-shaped compartments in the front, making it a good pack for an overnight trip. For those that don't know, The North Face was founded in 1966, and has been a local Berkeley company for much of its existence. In fact, this pack was made in Berkeley!

This week's pack: ArcFlex Terraplane - Dana Designs
Color - Red
Capacity - 85 Liters

Dana Designs backpacks, especially the ArcFlex Terraplane, were considered the Cadillac of backpacks in the 90s. They are heavy, made in the USA, and extremely sturdy. This pack's suspension system and comfort are unmatched, allowing through-hikers to carry in excess of 70lbs with ease. The Terraplane is widely considered the greatest backpack of all time, which accounted for its $475 price tag back in the day.
