t of all. With an accessible and modern style, it works with people’s confidence and desire, using every situation in life to develop fearlessness and joy. We always present a basic introduction for newcomers, and the meditations are guided in English. We meet weekly on Wednesday at 7pm and meditation is about 30 Minutes with a short talk before. or from Denver:

The Diamond Way Karma Kagyu Buddhist Center of Denver is made up of a core group of dedicated Dharma practitioners who are devoted to the teachings of Mahamudra, the "Great Seal," a passed down from the oral transmission of the Karma Kagyu lineage that had its basis in Tibet until the late 20th century. We belong to an international network of over 600 Buddhist Meditation Centers under the direction Lama Ole Nydahl and the spiritual guidance of His Holiness the 17th Karmapa, Thaye Dorje. Lama Ole, and his wife Hannah, were among the first western students of the 16th Karmapa during the late the 1960's and have continued to be an integral force in adapting the timeless wisdom of Vajrayana practice to western society. Diamond Way Buddhist Centers are comprised of lay people who strive to incorporate Buddha's teachings on Buddha-nature, meditation, and compassion into their daily lives. We are the people you see around every day: working, raising families, and attempting to live a wholesome and compassionate life. Our members share the responsibility for all levels of center organization, such as guiding public meditations, giving introductory talks on Dharma subjects, answering questions and giving explanations on Buddhist philosophy and practice. Since our group functions based upon upon the never dull and always fresh qualities of Idealism and Friendship, no one in our center receives payment for the services they provide, but volunteers by giving of their surplus.
