Today I let myself be seen.

A note for anyone who has watched my page go quiet for months at a time:
God stretches me with intent. Placing me in creative spaces that ask more of me than I think I can give. And sometimes that means I disappear from here so I can show up there, fully, for the work.
The silence isn’t absence. It’s preparation.
Today I had the gift of working with an all Black women creative team. Black women honoring Black mamas.
There is something different about being held in your work by people who understand the weight of what you’re creating, who don’t need you to explain why this story matters. I love working with women of color, and on this one, I want to specifically name how powerful it is when the whole team shows up Black.
