Decanter wine critic Jonathan Cristaldi has awarded the 2023 Covenant Solomon Lot 70 the first 100-point rating ever for any kosher wine in a major wine publication. We thank Mr. Cristaldi and Decanter for this recognition, along with our longtime growers and customers, without whom such an honor would not have been possible.

Twenty-three years ago, Covenant was founded with a single conviction—that kosher wine could stand alongside the finest bottles in the world. At the time, there were a number of examples of such wines around the world, but the kosher wine renaissance was just beginning.

We set out to produce outstanding wine and bring it to a kosher wine community that deserved nothing less. Today, a new generation of wine lovers knows firsthand that "kosher" and "world-class" are not in contradiction. Indeed, they never were.

Patio season is upon us, so it's time to reintroduce you to our Hospitality Manager - Ted!

A Chicago native, hospitality runs through Ted's veins. He grew up in hotels and went on to study hospitality in college. Eventually, he made his way out west and worked in production and vineyard management in Sonoma. He went on to run the hospitality at Ma(i)sonry in Yountville - and eventually found his way to us at Covenant! When he's not at the winery, you can find him golfing in Tilden or fishing up in the Sierra Nevada.
