Another magical night in the books 📖🌙✨ Our ACOTAR Countdown Club gathered to dive into A Court of Mist and Fury — and wow, did this group bring the energy! From Team Tamlin vs. Team Rhysand debates to deep dives on trauma, loyalty, and that mating bond, the conversation has us in stitches all night.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to discuss, debate, and divine their fates in our Cauldron oracle activity 🔮

Puzzle Night recap: good wine, great puzzles, even better company. 🧩✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night—and to Elms Handcut Puzzles for the stunning handcrafted wooden puzzles that had everyone at every table completely locked in. The concentration in the room was real—heads down, glasses nearby, and so much great teamwork! Nights like this are exactly why we do what we do.

Community Puzzle Night is back tomorrow! 🧩🍷 Join us for another cozy evening of community puzzling, featuring one-of-a-kind handcrafted wooden puzzles by .

This is a relaxed, drop-in evening—no formal program. Come and go as you please between 6–8pm. We'll have multiple puzzle stations set up around the space, so grab a glass, pull up a chair, and dive in!

What a way to spend a Friday night 🎉 We had the joy of hosting a private celebration for a guest’s big milestone birthday and her wonderful friends here at Book Society. We’re so grateful when people think of us as the place to celebrate something special. 💛

And today, we’re holding space for another private celebration! A friendly reminder that we’ll be closing early at 3pm to host this gathering.

We gathered, we tasted, we became vegetable believers. 🌿📚

Last night we were joined by the incredible Cara Mangini Mangini, author of The Vegetable Butcher and The Vegetable Eater, for an evening that made us fall head over heels for veggies.

The conversation was led by our beloved friend Bebe Carminito Bebe Black Carminito , cookbook author and food stylist extraordinaire, who drew out all the good stuff: the roots of Cara’s deep passion for vegetables, her vision for making them the true star of the plate, and why they are so much more satisfying than we give them credit for.

We got to taste a gorgeous spread of Cara’s recipes, watch her break down veggie prep with live cutting tips and tricks, and then — chef’s kiss — she assembled the most beautiful, fresh zucchini salad right before our eyes. This is exactly why we love Cookbook Lovers Club. 😋

Whew, what a Tuesday! We kicked off the week by spreading the community spirit all across the Bay — and we had to divide and conquer to cover it all!

It started with a lively 30th birthday celebration 🎂 (big love to our birthday guest of honor!), followed by our always-hilarious WTF Did I Just Read?! Book Club.

And at the same time, up in Mill Valley at , we were honored to serve as bookseller for a truly heartfelt author conversation with the inspiring and — another beautiful community showing up for story, connection, and each other.

Three events. One incredible day. And the week is just getting started! ✨
