Did you know every month we get together and share our insights about a book? Yes, we host a Book Club the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 1:00 pm. This particular book comes highly recommended. Just drop into the Library and sign out this month's featured book, take it home then meet back at the Library on April 15th to see what others thought about it. Meet some new folks while enjoying a new book.

Morgan County Public Library preparing for today's Spring Break Program!!!!!

Hot one day, freeze warnings a few days later. We're all at that in-between wardrobes times. Books like this are handy for extending the usefulness of your clothes. Why pay someone to sew that hem or darn your favorite socks, we have books either in the Library or we can have them transferred from other libraries to get your summer wardrobe ready.

Have ya cooked up any Ramps yet? How about any Morel mushrooms? When you do, how will you enjoy them? We have lots of Cookbooks for some recipes that might be new to you.

Hey, are you missing something? We may have it. Most of these lost items have been here for a good while and we've earnestly tried to reunite them with their owners. We've decided to donate everything so if you recognize your lost items please drop by the Library anytime Thursday or Friday in the morning to retrieve them. Thanks!

The Farmer's Market opens today! Fresh produce from local sources!
Stop in the Library sometime this week to pick up a book full of new recipe ideas. If you're pantry needs stocked, we have food preservation books. We also have books on processing herbs for decoctions and tinctures. While you're at it, if you've purchased some tallow from a Farmer's Market vendor, learn how to process it into cleansers, moisturizers and cosmetics with a book. Shop on Sunday then hit up the library Monday. We're open Monday 9-6.

Well we can tell it's planting season because the Seed Catalog has been a very popular resource lately so we've provided a display by the Circulation desk with lots of books on gardening. And if that's not enough, we have a huge selection upstairs under the Dewey Decimal #635. And if that's not enough there's a special selection donated by Master Gardeners with two cozy chairs full of resources to get folks started, answer bug and disease questions and guide you through your next gardening project.
