ON THE BENCH - Gretsch Astro-Jet
Hey All! I had an interesting guitar come across the bench recently. This is a very nice example of an early Gretsch solid body. The pickups are called Super-Trons and are based on the Filter-Tron pickup that gave Gretsch their iconic sound. Using the same basic design as Filter-Trons but wound to be hotter with more output. It has a very unique control layout as well which I go over in the video-
