ARWS - Adventure Racing World Series

The Dark Zone: An Adventure Racing Podcast and Rootstock Racing are trying something new at the upcoming Endless Mountains race.

DZ Podcast host Brian Gatens is racing and has handed the DZ channel over to Rootstock Racing, who will present live podcasts from the race.

"The experiment is deliberately unconventional. Rather than reporting on adventure racing from a distance, the EMAR podcast will place listeners inside the event and share with listeners the same challenges, big terrain, and unscripted moments that define expedition-length adventure racing."

From the start on June 22nd race followers will be able to listen to the podcasts for an insight inside an expedition race, as its happening, and in the podcast format they can do that while driving to work or out training!

Rootstock Racing HQ is about 30 miles south of the southernmost point on the 2026 Endless Mountains course, and this morning the sky was starting to brighten by 4:45am.

With the race starting the day after the solstice, teams will be treated to long days and short nights.

Young adventure racing teams around the world are busy training for the first ever Junior Adventure Racing World Championship at Raid Témiscamingue in Canada.

The Wild Brasil teams were recently racing the 80 km course at the Haka Race where they faced every challenge on the course and crossed the finish line after 17 hours, at 3am in the morning, winning 🥈 2nd place in the Men's Doubles category!

Sensational teamwork, with lots of determination, resilience and a spirit of adventure. Now the teams are even more motivated for their race in Canada!

From the Parade of Nations to the Prologue, and through to the Opening Ceremony, every student will step out of the classroom and onto the world stage. The school’s cadets, young men and women preparing for careers in the armed forces, the gendarmerie and the emergency services, will also bring their commitment to the heart of the organisation. 💪

Together, they will guide us through their town and up to their iconic citadel, known as the “Eagle’s Nest”. They will share with us the very essence of Corsica: its heritage, its music and its language.

This is more than a partnership. It is a transmission, a passing of the torch between generations. The young people of Corte are ready to show the world what Corsican pride and community spirit truly mean. 💫
