Animal control officers in Virginia responded to an unusual call this weekend after a raccoon broke into a liquor store, ransacked several shelves and passed out in the bathroom.
After several hours of rest, the raccoon showed no signs of being hurt, “other than maybe a hangover and poor life choices,” the shelter it recovered at said.

Honey, a 14-year-old yellow lab, was taken to a rescue after her owner died three months ago. She had mobility issues that weren't improving and was nearly out of time.

Her owner was a truck driver, so the nonprofit took to social media, asking if any of their followers were truck drivers willing to give Honey one last ride and make a stop for her favorite snack: Wendy’s chicken nuggets.

From Friday to Monday, Honey went on five rides and got her nuggets. Her final ride before she passed away was with her owner’s family.

Miracle is the definition of strength, love, and second chances. Despite enduring unimaginable hardship, this sweet and spunky boy holds no grudges—he simply wants to love and be loved.

Found in rural Arkansas with a shattered jaw after being shot, Miracle went without food or water for days before a Good Samaritan saved him. He underwent three surgeries to repair his injuries, and while his jaw remains slightly misaligned, it only adds to his charm. His spirit, however, was never broken.

Miracle is a happy, playful, and incredibly affectionate pup. He is eager to please, food-motivated, and easy to train. His favorite place is by his people’s side—whether he’s enjoying an energetic play session or curling up for a well-deserved nap. He is house-trained, heartworm negative, neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations.

Miracle is loyal, attentive, and always comes when called. He does well with people and loves companionship, though he’s not a fan of cats or chickens.

This brave boy has been through so much, and now he’s ready for the happy ending he deserves. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with an incredible heart, Miracle is waiting for you.
