We are bursting with pride over one of our talented young artists! ๐จโจ
Our very own Levi was selected to showcase his artwork in the 65th Annual Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Artsโan incredible honor!
Hereโs what makes this achievement so special:
โญ Only ONE piece per grade level could be submitted by Mrs. Elkin
โญ Just FOUR artworks per grade were selected in the entire state
๐ Levi earned Best in Class for Kindergarten
๐ฐ He and Mrs. Elkin were even interviewed by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette!
We couldnโt be more proud of Levi and Mrs. Elkin for representing our school so well. His creativity and hard work truly shine!
This exhibition does an amazing job of elevating student art and creating opportunities for young artists across Arkansas. We are so thankful to be part of such a meaningful event!

Yesterday we had the honor of surprising one of our 4th grade students in Mrs. Dalby's ELA class at lunch as the recipient of the Noelene Carson Reading Prize! ๐โค๏ธ
Established in memory of longtime Howard Perrin teacher and 1986 Benton Teacher of the Year, Noelene Carson, this award recognizes a 4th grade student who demonstrates a love of reading or tremendous growth in reading. Mrs. Carson's son and daughter came to present the certificate award and a prize of $100 worth of books from Amazon.
This yearโs recipient earned the honor through his incredible growth as a reader, and we were so excited to celebrate him alongside his classmates! Way to go, Ulysses!

Today, the Benton High School Class of 2026 will walk across the stage and officially become graduates. But before tonight's celebration, they came back to where it all began...HP!
This morning, our HP seniors enjoyed breakfast together, visited former teachers, watched a special memory slideshow, and took one final walk through the halls as our current students cheered them on every step of the way. Our 4th grade paparazzi even rolled out the red carpet and interviewed them as they came in the gym.
What a beautiful tradition and reminder of how far they've come. We are so proud of each of these students, the journey that brought them here, and the bright futures ahead of them.
Congrats, Class of 2026!
