P.R.E. begins next Wednesday, September 6!! Classes are from 6:30 - 7:30 in the hall.

Reminder: Practice for the Children's Mass is in the Church today (Friday) from 5:30-6:30.

The Eucharistic Enrichment with Father Ruben in English is cancelled for tonight. The Eucharistic Enrichment for Friday in Spanish with Father Ruben is not cancelled and and will be held as scheduled.

The Euchastic Miracle exhibit is closed for today and will reopen tomorrow morning at 9am.

Due to the weather, Family Night, RCIA, RCIC, and the Eucharistic Miracles of the World exhibit are cancelled for tonight.

Family Night and related activities along with RCIA are cancelled for tomorrow. All programs will return on March 4th.

Theology of the Body will continue on March 10th at 7pm. The weather could bring bad roads tonight and next week is the postponed Parish Council meeting. The topic will be the long awaited talk, Spirituality of Marriage. We will meet in the McGinnis Hall meeting room. For more info call 317-7826.

Ash Wednesday, a day of fasting, is the first day of Lent in the Church. It occurs 46 days (40 fasting days, if the 6 Sundays, which are not days of fast, are excluded) before Easter.

According to the canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, Jesus Christ spent 40 days fasting in the desert, where he endured temptation by Satan.

Ash Wednesday derives its name from the practice of blessing ashes made from palm branches blessed on the previous year's Palm Sunday, and placing them on the heads of participants to the accompaniment of the words "Repent, and believe in the Gospel" or "Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return".

Mass times today are 8am and 7pm.
