While April showers bring May flowers 🌸 they should also bring new wiper blades. Here are 5 signs that you should replace your wiper blades:
1️⃣ The rubber on the blades is cracked or failing.
2️⃣ Your wipers are leaving streaks on your windshield.
3️⃣ You’re hearing too much squeaking and “chattering”.
4️⃣ The frame of the blade is bent or damaged.
5️⃣ The rubber adhesive is failing, and blades aren’t making consistent contact with your windshield.
Toyota suggests replacing your wiper blades every 6-12 months.

Allergy season is here... use these tips to protect your exterior from, dare we say it, POLLEN 😨
1. Rinse and wash: By washing your car it can get rid of the excess pollen and wash away any potential effects it can have on the exterior.
2. Wax: By adding a protective layer of wax, pollen is less likely to stick to your exterior.
3. Check your engine filter: Your engine filter protects your engine from pollen, dirt, and debris. It is recommended to change your engine filter every 15k-30k miles, so we suggest doing this after pollen season.
4. Replace your interior cabin filter: By replacing the cabin filter, it keeps the air within the car cleaner, which means you’re less likely to be inhaling pollen-filled air.
5. Clean your wiper blades: Pollen build-up on your wipers eventually turns into a thick paste. By cleaning your wiper blades weekly, you can avoid this inevitable build-up.

As the weather changes, your car mats can change too. The right floor mats not only look good but also work to protect your vehicle from moisture, road salt, dirt, and grime.
Winter ❄️ and Fall 🍂 Invest in all-purpose mats. They are made of thicker material and forego a fabric-heavy make-up. The rubber or plastic material traps melting snow, rain, salt, and dirt preventing rust and corrosion.
Spring 🌸 and Summer ☀️ Thinner mats are easier to get away with due to dryer weather (typically) and less moisture. The hooks in fabric floor mats hold on to dirt and keep it from spreading through your vehicle.

Psst... Here are 7 Car Detailing Myths You Should Stop Believing... RIGHT NOW 😳
1. A vehicle can be washed anytime 🛑 Vehicles shouldn't be washed in direct sunlight/heat.
2. Dishwashing detergent is a great option 🛑 Dishwashing detergent can remove the polymer that is meant to protect the paint finish.
3. Cleaning and washing is the same thing 🛑 Auto-cleaning (different from a regular wash) is more detailed and takes more time. It focuses on the interior and stubborn stains. This should be done a few times a year
4. Shiny equals clean 🛑 A car can be shiny and still be dirty - do a touch test. When done correctly, the body will be as smooth as glass and rid of bumps.
5. Polishing and waxing are synonyms 🛑 Polishing is done to make the car’s surface appear shiny. Waxing is aimed at protecting the vehicle’s finish.
6. Wax protection can last up to five years 🛑 The lifespan of the wax depends on the working conditions of the car.
7. Washing only when dirty 🛑 Make washing your ride a regular task, to avoid built-up dirt that leads to paint damage.
