Happy equinox! And Mabon blessings to all celebrating, as well 🍂
The equinox always stands as a reminder to me to balance my external and internal worlds. It's a time for me to check in with myself and make sure I'm not over extending in either direction. And in the autumn it's the point in my year where I really let things start to slow back down.
This year it has been a time of harvesting the last of the veggies, collecting seeds for next year's garden, and preparing the garden beds to rest before the next season starts.
What does the equinox bring for you?

The garden always feels extra cozy after an evening of laughter shared with good neighbors. Thank you to everyone who has spent time in the garden this season 🫶
I'm already looking forward to the next round of summer nights under the Central Oregon skies ✨
The summer herbs have been dried and tucked away in jars of oil. That means as fall settles in there's about to be lots brewing for the apothecary lineup 🧹🔮
Watching the chicks emerge just never gets old 🐣 And that little moment when the first chick started to clean the most recent, is just too cute here.
