One of the most magical Bend traditions is back 🧙‍♀️✨

The annual Bend Witches Paddle is happening again! Witches of all ages will take over the Deschutes, launching from Riverbend Park and paddling through the Old Mill in their best witchy attire. 🎃🧹

And it’s all for a good cause! The Witches Paddle is an annual fundraiser benefiting Mountain Star Relief Nursery. If you’re able to contribute, they’re collecting size 4–6 diapers, gas cards, grocery cards and direct donations. 🧡

Paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and tubes are all welcome, along with kids and dogs. If you’re hitting the water, don’t forget your life jacket!

Not paddling? It’s still SO fun to come down and watch a river full of witches float through Bend. 😂

This was such a good little weekend stop. 🍩🍵

MAKECHA came over from Portland for a matcha pop-up at Dearmomcafe.bend alongside a donut drop from Oh My Goodness Bakery . The matcha tasted so fresh, the Makecha crew was so friendly, and it was fun to have them here in Bend!

And the donuts? There were so many flavors I couldn’t choose, so we cut them up and made a little sampler platter. I’m convinced that’s the best way to eat donuts because everyone gets to try a bit of everything.

Oh My Goodness Bakery now has a permanent home inside Dear Mom Café, but keep watching for their pop-ups and special drops too. I’ll absolutely be back for more. 💛

This summer we decided to foster a dog through Street Dog Hero…and obviously that went really well because now we have Tux. 😂🐾

Our foster fail has officially settled in and his personality is REALLY starting to show. I’ve fostered and rescued dogs before, but I have never had a dog that can jump like this. 😂 We finally taught him to do it on command, so naturally we had to show off his new skill.

And since Tux came to us through Street Dog Hero, here’s your reminder that you don’t have to adopt or foster to help!

Free coffee for test driving a new Volvo? Okay, I’m in 😂☕️

I stopped by Volvo Cars Bend to take the new all-electric EX60 for a spin with David Metcalf and had way too much fun checking out all the features. There are so many little details packed into this car that I definitely wasn’t expecting.

And THIS SATURDAY, September 26, you can go try it for yourself! Volvo of Bend is hosting an EX60 test drive event, and when you take one for a drive, you’ll get a free coffee from local JJ Coffee Co!! ☕️

I especially love that they’re using the event to support another local Bend business. Such a fun little Saturday stop whether you’re actually car shopping or you’ve just been curious about what driving electric is like.
