One of the things I love about working a gallery shift Tumalo Art Company is getting to meet people and share a love of artwork. A few days ago, "Meet and Tweet" found its new home - my heart is happy. Thank you to Tumalo Art Co. and to the new bird‑print lover who connected with it.

Meet "Sanctuary"
A monotype with collaged Tetra Pak etching — a small shelter made of color and form, where calm meets energy...a place to call home.

Newest monotype print - I'm trying to decide if I should work into the print. In the meantime, I'm thinking on titles...and playing with "Soma" but I'm open to other ideas. :) Let me know what you think

Wednesday’s Studio – Space and TAXES! Space reveals itself in layers. Negative space holds the openings. Positive space claims the surface. Implied space draws the eye deeper in. Working with these negative paintings — painting the around instead of the thing itself — feels fitting on April 15, a day that asks us to sort, clarify, and decide what belongs where.

Happy to share that “Sail Away with Me” will be part of Colors of Art and Poetry at UUFCO. Art and words side by side — including my poem that begins, "A soft drift, unhurried…" Opening reception: Thursday, April 16, 6–7:30.
