From a cotton candy sunset to the moonrise, this last full moon set was a stunner! Happy Moonday! 🌝

Anyone else have a weird obsession with bear grass? It’s one of the coolest plants I’ve seen in the wild and I can’t get enough. (Maya and Casey agree 🤍)

Happy Moonday! I have to say moonsets in the summer are exhausting…especially when you’re not a morning person. I have to remind myself that I’m never mad I’m there, but getting there takes some internal convincing when that alarm goes off at 4:15am 🌝

Did you all see the crazy lightning show last week? We got front row seats from our hike. Totally worth getting home at 1am because of my mantra…”just one more shot” 😂 ⚡️

Wow! Went out for the meteor shower and man did the light show deliver last night! 🤯

Isn’t it so cool how bright certain stars/planets are in the sky! Also how some are “blue” and others “white”….If I remembered freshman year astronomy, I’d probably understand why 🥴. One thing I do remember is the Orion constellation. Can you spot him on the first image? 🤩

I heard last night there was a severe solar storm making the northern lights go crazy! While we didn’t see any aurora last night, it sure made me miss Iceland.💚

The thing about Iceland is the weather is INSANE. Literally one minute it’s blizzard conditions with high winds, blowing snow and full cloud coverage….then you pop out of your van to use the restroom and the stars are out and an aurora tornado is dancing in the sky. Really keeps you on your toes!

Also, this view lasted for about 15 minutes before the clouds rolled in again with another snow storm☃️. Good thing we had to p*e or we would have missed it completely 😂

I was so excited to find a couple baby owls on our walk the other day and my heart melted 🦉💕.

Don’t worry Mom was keeping a close watch from the neighboring tree. Nature is the best 🥰

Still can’t believe we went out at 11:30pm to stalk the northern lights….but boy was it worth it! What a show! Even caught a little shooting star in the top corner. 💫

Incredibly impressed to be able to see these in BEND! 🤯
