We did a thing! Wanted to make sure kitties would be OK if we did our acutonic treatments in the cat room for our event Jan 14th. This one ran up to me immediately and SAT on my tuning forks. We might just have to adopt him?

This past week, a surprising number of patients, trusted me with some of the more vulnerable, precious parts of their inner child. I feel grateful for their trust. They are my teachers.

I wrote this article when I was mentoring with David Berkshire, president of the Worsely Five Elements Institute. There is a grace and beauty to this medicine that I feel I'm only beginning to tap into.

Now seeing patients in person with:
- Chronic & acute pain.
- Acute skin injuries & infections.
- Urgent care for possible pelvic infections, sore throat, ear infections, unresolved cough/shortness of breath, or other acute illness.

Governor Kate Brown announced that she will be lifting her order delaying non-urgent procedures for health care providers. We will be able to resume non-urgent procedures on May 1, 2020.

With deep consideration for the needs of our patients, Lumos Medical Center has decided to expand our scope of patient visits to allow for some limited in-person services.

We will remain flexible in expanding the amount of patients we can see in person, as the risk of transmission for COVID-19 changes. We will continue to follow the recommendations set by state and federal public health organizations.
