It's important to clear around our fire hydrants so they can be quickly located and accessed by Bend Fire. If your hydrant is buried, and you're not 100% sure of its location, Google Maps Street View is a helpful tool to determine exactly where it is.
Project Wildfire Our mission is to prevent deaths, injuries, property loss, and environmental damage resulting from wildfires in Deschutes County. Steering Committee meetings are the 3rd Tues. of each month from 8-9:30am at 1300 NW Wall St., Bend, OR 97701.

Here's a new web site that provides a one-stop shop for Central Oregon residents on wildfire, public health, smoke, and prescribed fire information. Many of the resources available on the site were previously available however, this is the first time these resources and information have been consolidated into one place.

City Crews Work Around the Clock when Storms hit Bend City crews and working 24-hours a day keeping Bend streets clear and open in very challenging conditions.
