VegNet Bend Presents “Food as Medicine: The Power of Plants” Lunch & Learn at Larkspur Free And no registration needed.
Bend, OR — VegNet Bend invites the community to a special Lunch & Learn event, Food as Medicine: The Power of Plants, exploring the powerful role nutrition plays in preventing and reversing chronic disease.
The event will be held at Larkspur Community Center, 1600 S.E. Reed Market, Bend, April 14 from 12:00 to 1:30 PM. Community members are encouraged to attend and discover how whole plant foods can profoundly impact health and well-being.
The event includes a TEDx talk by Dr. Michael Greger, known for his research-based and accessible approach to nutrition science.
Whether attendees are plant-curious or fully plant-based, the Lunch & Learn offers science-backed information, real-life application, and inspiration for vibrant health.

Volunteers needed for VegNet Bend’s Earth Day booth at the Environmental Center’s Earth Day celebration. Have fun while helping to spread the word about the benefit of a plant based lifestyle. Come join us for an hour or two between 10am and 3pm at the booth and meet new people plus connect with those not seen in a while.
