Matt got to meet Doug Emhoff, Second Gentleman while canvassing in Pennsylvania the other day. He travels with about 25 cars of security.

Off go my batch of @voteforward letters to residents - hopeful voters - in North Carolina! I am adding Vote buttons, so am going with the "non machinable" postage stamp, as extra insurance they will arrive safely. My husband is about to get on the road (with 1,000 Harris buttons!) to drive around and volunteer in battleground states for a couple of weeks. I have started pulling over when I see Harris yard signs and leaving buttons on people's porches.... We are feeling a bit like Johnny Appleseeds. It feels good to take action.

One of our buttons was generously given to a Harris campaign worker by Karen Packer when she admired it at an Emhoff reception in Portland that she was staffing.
