Bar-He Ranch

The 2026 Oregon State Fair is in the books!

We are so proud of all the animals we took this year and couldn’t have asked for a better week.

Bar-He Jasper — Grand Champion Bull

Boy, are we proud of this bull! Jasper came straight off pasture, where he had been breeding cows just two weeks before the show, and he could not have been more of a gentleman all week. We are incredibly proud of how he represented our program and can’t wait to see what his future holds.

Our heifers also made us proud, placing well in their classes and handling the entire week with class. CMC Candy took 1st in the Summer Yearling Heifer class, with CMC Remi taking 2nd. WKF Raindancer placed 3rd in the Spring Junior Yearling Heifer class.

We were also fortunate to share the week with some great people. COPA Farms, Mt. Pleasant Farms, and the Bailey Sisters joined us at State Fair, and we are so grateful for all of their help, support, and camaraderie throughout the show. Congratulations to each of them on their well-deserved wins and a great week in the show ring!

It was a great State Fair, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

Big J looking handsome as ever.

We sure are loving this special cow!

Cayenne is loving her summer pasture. Fresh grass, plenty of room to roam, and sunshine-it's as good day to be a Highland.

Thank you, Jennifer Lewis at Wakefield Farms, for raising such a beautiful set of heifers. We’re truly grateful to add them to our program. We know how much planning, effort, and care went into producing these animals, and it means a great deal to us. We can’t wait to see the impact they’ll have on our herd for years to come.
