Captured the most magical proposal at Crater Lake last night. Matthew went and got himself a whole fiancée for his birthday! 🎉
What an absolute honor to work with & . He’d been planning for months and pulled it off perfectly. So excited for these two. Congrats! 🥳

Just blogged the cutest, giggliest couple’s sunrise elopement at Crater Lake National Park! 🌄 Just two weeks before their big day, snow still covered the area up to the roofline of the Rim Village Gift Shop. During my location scouting, I sent them photos of the snow situation, and their response? “I guess we’re bringing micro-spikes and snowshoes!” My kind of couple!

Thankfully, by the time their elopement day arrived, most of the snow in Rim Village had melted, and hiking boots were all we needed. They were ready for anything, but as luck would have it, the day unfolded perfectly—just as we’d planned. It was an unforgettable adventure for all of us! 💙💚

I had so much fun photographing Janelle & Edith this summer at Crater Lake. They visited from Cali and stayed at the , a lovely little spot with no cell service (which, they both raved about how nice it was to disconnect for a few days). For their engagement session we hiked along the rim and explored the cool rock formations and vegetation. We even came across a deer!
Sigh, I’ll never get tired of sharing this park with my couples! ☺️

Had the most beautiful flight coming home from Michigan. Every time I looked out the window my view was stunning. Too bad I only had my phone camera on me but hey, it works. Those are pink salt flats. Always love it when my connecting flight is in just so I can see them. 🥰

We got to experience quite the show last night in Central Oregon. Here are some photos of the aurora borealis.

C & I spent the last week planning every aspect of his proposal to S to make sure it went perfectly. And I’m proud to report, it did! She had no idea why he was so persistent that they need to visit Crater Lake on THIS DAY. When they got there, I pretended to be a bashful new photographer wanting pics for her portfolio as I posed them for the surprise 😇

K & S dreamt of getting married at sunrise at . We worked together to make sure everything was in place. With me as their officiant, freshly brewed coffee in their thermoses, and every intentional detail you can think of, down to her grandmother’s priceless jewelry. 12 years of dating and many Anchorman references written into their vows, their wedding was so unapologetically “them”.
