these both were custom necklaces commissioned by boyfriends wanting something special to surprise their girlfriends with - i love love, & one of my favorite elements of custom work is gaining an understanding of the small and intimate details people notice about themselves or their loved one while creating something unique to them. even if it’s just noticing a preferred metal type, aspects of their style, paying attention to detail, something small like that tends to have huge reward. its a reminder to slow down and work with pure intention and love while i create your custom piece.

A project for a winter solstice proposal.
This one was special as the rough of the stone was provided by the couple, who allowed me trust in cutting their stone and to create some special pieces for them to carry with them into their new chapter. This was also my first experience cutting and cabbing stones. Hers is made with onyx and his is a mystery turquoise or maybe variscite… like I said mysterious. Congrats to Scott & Katherine! ♡ !
