Due to drier than normal conditions and the increased risk of Wildfire, the Alfalfa Fire District will be closing outdoor burning at midnight April 30th. This will include burn barrels. Propane fire pits will be allowed. For any questionโs, please contact the district at 541-382-2333. We appreciate everyones help with keeping our district safe.

The Alfalfa Fire District has placed a levy measure on the May ballot. If approved, the levy would provide funding for district operations, staffing, and emergency response services.
If the levy is not approved, the district may need to evaluate service levels, staffing, and operational resources, including the potential use of additional mutual aid from neighboring agencies.
The proposed levy would be based on assessed property values, not market values.
* Market value is the estimated amount a property could sell for on the open market.
* Assessed value is the value assigned to a property by the county for tax purposes.
