3000 fps with a 90gr bullet out of an 18” barrel makes the 25 DTI a very capable caliber choice. The .257” bore allows you to burn more powder than a .224” or .243” bore in a shorter barrel ensuring you won’t sacrifice velocity with a shorter barrel, which makes it ideal for a short, suppressed hunting rifle.
