What have we been up to the last few weeks? Basically been a tub grinder without the tub.

We hear it all the time: “Would it be cheaper to rent a machine or do it myself?”

Maybe, but the rental price is only one piece of the pie.

A rental gets you access to the machine. A professional service includes the equipment, operator, experience, transportation, tooling, troubleshooting, production and the finished result.

If we rented our own machine out, the equipment cost alone wouldn’t be all that far from what you see at a rental yard.

It’s really not an apples to apples comparison.

What’s your time worth to you?

For a moment, I thought it was snow but it was only wood chips. Winter is coming.
