This is currently what I’m using to top off/start a bed. Top soil located on our property! It’s dark, rich, & fluffy. This is located under some shade where hay bales are dropped off for the cattle that graze our pastures. A perfect place to find broken down layers of free tilth. Sure it might be full of various seeds but combined with heavy mulch & weeding techniques, I find this to be my best options for giving my beds that sweet kick in the pants (x

Various varieties of hard and soft neck garlics and jewel strawberries are in the ground and taking off. Got them tucked in nice and toasty with a light hay mulch and frost cloth to keep the buns of these bubs good & warm. A pleasure to have friends to work along your side while having the little fur girls to watch us ever so lovingly ❤️

Currently how I’m storing my veg until my walk-in cooler trailer is finished 😂 the heat is kicking UP! A quick pic of the beets and some wild flowers we’ll be slingin’ to add a cute shade to your day! We’ll be doing a back to back market tomorrow! First at the from 9-noon and then skittering down to Melissa for the from 2-6! We usual sell out of the good stuff within the first hour or so. Pro farmers market tip #1 get there early so you can get the sweet sweet goods 😉 see you then!

Sunset lettuce transplanting 🥬baby cukes 🥒 and me being a goof 🥸...a usual day. As I expand the farm with more garden beds, I’m finding the usual mode of succession planting has begotten to using whatever space I can find 🙄 but I love it regardless. Excited for our back to back this Saturday & going to load up !

These twilight glistening sunsets could never get old. ‘Cuz they’re already old & tied to a grand ol beauty, ancient & beyond dwindling. Golden hour might as well be my church 🙏 ... anyway. Fed the soil in our summer field with on site top soil and compost scavenged under trees and along fence lines. Transplanted many more squash and zukes to accompany the up and coming squashes we’ll have at tomorrow at 9!! V excited!

Too gorgeous of a morning to not paint with root babes 🎨

Monday evening met with a duality of scenes through cascading root bound emotions. Rain & sunshine. Wet boots & dry feet. Life of a turnip & the death of a dock root, or the caterpillars that nearly wiped out my Dino kale in the span of one night 😅_____Constantly humbled by the balancing act of bitter sweet dichotomies. We are building and growing here in more ways than with dirt alone & I’m excited to be the ever watchful consistent witness and to share what I can! Much love to everyone on this meandering Monday, and god bless double rainbows 🌈
