At the American Library Association conference this summer, we spoke with dozens of librarians from across the U.S. about the challenges and triumphs of running a library. Here is what they told us. https://nyti.ms/4zbhzRF

Dolly's legacy lives on. Thank you, friend of reading, books, and libraries!

Great day for the Friends of the Rockingham Free Public Library at the Guilford Welcome Center...pictured: our hot dog slinging treasurer, Patricia Fowler...

Saxtons River resident Barrett, who designed this year’s Saxtons River 4th of July T shirt, is a member of the board of the Friends of the Rockingham Library.
You can pick up a shirt Saturday in front of the Saxtons River Village Market from 9-12 to get the best selection. Also available during the Street Fair on the 4th.

Looking for something to do this weekend? Come to the opening reception for Spark! Places of Innovation at the Rockingham Free Public Library in Bellows Falls!!!!!

The exhibit is open during all library hours to explore, but this special event will be on Saturday the 27th from 11:00-1:00. Light refreshments will be provided.

Spark! is a Smithsonian traveling exhibit that explores the unique combination of places, people, and circumstances that sparks innovation and invention in rural communities.

Thank you to the Alchemist Foundation for their support in shipping this exhibit! Be sure to check out more information online about the next stop on this tour across VT and NH.

Thanks to all who donated plants and came to fill in your gardens and support our Rockingham Free Public Library! A great day. Keep spreading that garden and library love!
