Puget Sound Contemporary Residence

This modern Bainbridge Island residence features strong horizontal rooflines, exposed timber structure, and expansive glazing that frames sweeping views of Puget Sound. Warm timber and restrained modern forms connect the home to the shoreline and surrounding forest.

Revisiting one of our past projects: Loyal Captain

This project features a contemporary post-and-beam addition to a 1933 Craftsman built by ship Captain Ole E. Nilsen as a replica of his childhood home in Norway.

Our scope included custom timber fabrication and installation.

Here’s a look at one of our 2025 projects: three identical 26-foot hammerbeam trusses crafted from just over 1,000 board feet of conventionally dried Douglas-fir. With a rich three-coat dark brown finish and custom black steel collar ties, these non-structural trusses bring a rustic feel to a home in Sun Valley, Idaho.
