So my kid is inviting me into more joy and play. His family portrait is me flat lined and everyone else smiling. I’m pretty funny and love to goof off, this time in my life has felt like I can’t take moments off. I’m happy, and as my sister in law said full of joy; but in my direct relationship with my kids I have had to take on the masculine and feminine energies and this have kind of flat lined into a neutral. I want my kids to know a parent that had lots of of feelings. The robot Jenny is so comfortable for me yet probably awful for everyone else. I took a 30 day somatic embody non violent communication course this last month and it has set my guideposts for actually feeling my feelings. August said he wanted to reach the clouds. It was his motivation for the not super easy but very rewarding hike. Baker popped out for maybe 10 seconds right when we got to the top of the lookout! There were many hikers who had been waiting awhile. We met a lot of great people this camping trip.

I’m benching myself today. We all need a rest day. Do you practice four day flows? I’ve had tremendous success when I allow myself to recoup and have rest days. Boys are having fun though :)

Moving 2700 miles away from family when I was 18, I had such a cavalier mindset about family. I think we all of course yearn for that freedom to set forth and thank goodness I had that confidence. Now that I’m out of the stage of raising tinies, through the worst of divorce (knock on wood), I just love my family so much and want to be with them all of the time. I am glad my 18 year old self didn’t know that, because it’s now all the little moments of being together. Also, 18 year old me thought golf was the devils game. Still kinda holding true to that 😂, but love it none the less. @ Bend, Oregon

Rebel with a cause. I am hoping my friends and I can get some wishlist things checked off for those that are in dire need of supplies due to domestic violence and sexual assault during this time. Our tax money will not see to remedying these scenarios and the current climate of unemployment, civil unrest and pandemic struggles will mean that these issues could very much go unnoticed.
