For 25 years we've taught thousands of children and adults how to draw and paint.
Drawing is the foundation for all visual art and learning the basics gives students an appreciation for art and world cultures. It gives them tools for creative expression, improved problem solving skills, and pride in their artistic accomplishments. By breaking down the art subject into simple shapes and building on that one step at a time our students learn to see the individual parts that make up drawings and paintings.

Next Friday, May 1 from 4-7pm
BellinghamART welcomes students, families, and members of the community to come view the wonderful art our students have created over the year.
The art show will feature student and teacher artwork, free craft tables for kids, light snacks and refreshments, and music!
Stop by and celebrate our year of making art! Everyone is welcome. Come see what we are all about!

Our teen sketching class has been learning to draw people. I think they’ve got a handle on it now ☺️
Winter classes have been warm and bright! Fire horses, metal embossing, moons, so much painting, felting, sewing, pour painting, and lots and lots more!

Our crafting class just tried out pour painting. Every session we offer new crafts to try out - take this class again and again! We also have an evening crafting class for parents to take with their kids.

BellinghamART offers Little Artist classes for 4 and 5 year olds. These classes work on hand and eye coordination, recognizing and duplicating shapes, lines, and marks, using and caring for different art supplies, and slowing down and expanding short little attention spans. Classes start on January 15th but late joiners are always welcome!

Hey parents, caregivers, and the rest of you adults! Treat yourself this January with an art class. We have lots of options in schedule and subject matter. All of the classes listed above still have space for a ‘second week of January’ start. One class that has us particularly excited this winter is Fabric Dyeing and Textiles! Shake up your schedule and give yourself something to look forward to every week. All levels welcome!
