We are the first and currently the only charter school in Whatcom County. We're not like most schools...come check us out!
Wellness Mondays serve so much purpose and our classroom looks very different...whether it be a local park, breaking bread with community or spending quality time learning a new craft. Each Monday, we focus on the important learning and activities that happen beyond the traditional, core subjects.
At WIHS, Mondays are reserved for community and wellness. Every Monday we skip the traditional classroom to engage in activities that promote health and wellbeing. This may include community breakfasts, field trips, place-based learning or spending some time jammin'...guitars provided!
