Volunteers from the Rainier Ridge Rams and Timber Tamers 4x4 Club spent the morning helping DNR haul and stage materials up to the bridge on Timber Tamer trail. Some parts of the bridge are in need of repair/replacement.

⚠️ Safety First - Off-Road Responsibility ⚠️
As the weather warms up, more people are hitting the trails. On Monday, the Rainier Ridge Rams, one of our clubs, helped with a recovery. These situations are common, and many clubs and volunteers put in a lot of effort to keep everyone safe. We want to remind you that being prepared and staying safe on the trails matters, no matter how experienced you are.
Some Quick Reminders
✅ Always put safety first
✅ Don’t go out alone
✅ Bring the right gear and supplies
✅ Don't underestimate the weather
Our clubs and members are committed to safety, there are several trained in search and rescue and often work with other groups to help recover vehicles who volunteer countless hours. We encourage everyone, especially new PNW4WDA members, to use the trails responsibly, know your limits, be aware of the conditions, and don't be afraid to ask for help.
Thank you for your support, teamwork, and commitment to safe wheeling and exploring. Take care and look out for each other while you enjoy the trails.
If you have any questions, please reach out to us anytime.

This last Monday members went out to help recover a couples subaru, after they had reached out to us via Facebook messenger.
The couple were out exploring and accidentally slid off the road while looking for some remote camping spots.
Fortunately everyone walked away without injuries, but unfortunately the subaru was totaled.
Our members made quick work of the situation and were able to not only get the subaru back on the road, but also tow it down to a spot for the tow company to load it on a flatbed.
Great communication and teamwork once again.

An abandoned vehicle was reported up at walker valley orv, so yesterday a few of us went out to recover it. The vehicle was dumped off of Peter Burns Rd about 200 feet down the embankment into a clear-cut.
Took 3 winches to pull it back onto the road so the tow truck could pick it up and remove it from the area.
