This tiny Viper Gecko is only about two or so inches long!

Today was the first time I have ever seen a Short-Tailed Weasel! They are cute charismatic little creatures. I hope to see this one again this winter when he has his white coat! For my photography friends out there this was shot at ISO 25,600 and processed with topaz, not bad huh!

I never knew we had Katydids in Whatcom County until today. Apparently, they spend most of their time high in trees and though rarely seen, they are actually quite common.
