The school year's almost over, so we're bringing back our WWU benefit blend for a limited time only ☕️📚

This special blend was created in partnership with Western Washington University to celebrate campus life and provide some caffeinated comfort to students while they study, connect, and recharge. It's organic, Fair Trade certified, and the ultimate crowd-pleaser with rich notes of chocolate, caramel, and brown sugar. That killer label art was created by WWU alum Zoe Malee to capture the essence of late-night study sessions, and the sense of community that makes them memorable.

10% of proceeds from every bag sold directly support the WWU Sustainability Engagement Institute to develop educational opportunities and protect local ecology. Since launching the blend, we’ve donated over $5,000 🌿

Order a bag before it's gone, and get FREE shipping* when you order two!

As we round out , we want to share the newest Gold Standard project we're supporting as part of our commitment to offset our historical carbon footprint by 2030 🌱

This project focuses on the Santander Ceramic Factory, a red ceramic factory in Soacha, Colombia, utilizing renewable biomass.

Ceramic industries in Colombia typically use traditional kilns that burn large amounts of coal, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions. In contrast, Santander optimizes thermal energy by using biomass residues like sawdust, wood residues, and paper pulp as the primary fuel source for ceramic kilns, replacing reliance on fossil fuels and reducing 26,136 tCO2/year in emissions.

Beyond its environmental benefits, the project has also worked to improve the livelihood of the local community through initiatives like:

🧱 Donating bricks and other construction materials to a local school from the village of Fuzunga

🌳 Setting up and maintaining a nursery for the community to grow native trees and plants and help restore local ecosystems.

🛠️ Providing training and capacity-building courses to employees to increase their opportunities for growth in the labor market.

🐶 Providing shelter and food for abandoned animals in the region.

We're proud to support the very first Gold Standard-certified project in Colombia and look forward to seeing continued growth and positive change in the community.

A Love Letter to Washington Farms ☕️🌿

Last year, we launched a brand new coffee to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Washington Farmland Trust and the work they do to protect the future of Washington farming.

In honor of Earth Month, we're bringing Love the Land back again to brew up some love for local farmland and the farmers at the heart of our communities 🍎

Love the Land is a 100% USDA Organic blend that brews a smooth, comforting cup with rich flavors of chocolate and malt. The bag features artwork by Washington-based artist Erin Wallace that captures the vibrancy of Washington farming.

10% of profits from each bag will be donated to the Washington Farmland Trust to help conserve farmland across the state, protect the local environment, provide livelihoods for farmers, ensure access to local food in our communities, and support rural economies. Swipe through the photos to check out some of the incredible farms they work with ➡️

Local farms are essential to our daily lives, and investing in Washington farmland makes our communities stronger and healthier. Head to the link in our bio to grab this limited-edition coffee and help us support Washington farming, one cup at a time!🌱
