Sun Community Service

Serving people in Whatcom County with behavioral health needs by providing emergency shelter and supportive housing and funds to support our general operation.

Sun House has been providing transitional housing for people with serious, chronic mental illness since 1975. The Sun House accepts donations to help with unexpected repairs, special occasions (holidays, birthdays, etc.) Monetary donations are tax-deductible. We also welcome donations of household items such as towels, silverware, twin-sized sheets and toiletry items.

Sun Community Services works to break this cycle by teaching people how to manage their illness and live successfully in their communities.
