Waitsfield , VT covered bridge. Take a closer look at the timber joinery used in this bridge which spans the Mad River in Waitsfield. Bent beams, large scarf joints, make for an impressive internal structure.

Bear mountain with my favorite hiking partner ( sorry guys) this past Sunday via the Major Welch Trail which has been officially closed since July due to flood damage. A beautiful climb and absolutely no trail damage and no other people observed.
