As 2026 begins we are facing many difficulties and challenges as a collective community. We stand with you in love and for peace. We offer up the courageous power of hope.
We welcome you to use the self care resources available on our website. All materials are free and downloadable. Questions about their use are always welcome. We continue to offer healing space for you in small circles together wherever the need and interest arises.
If you need support and would like to be a part of a circle that practices the tools together, our contact information is on our website. Let us practice discernment as we walk this path of hope together.
Each of us is a river... each river flows into the Salish Sea. The great power of water flows through each of us equally. We find ourselves together here, for this working moment in time, in these wonderful valleys... then our water flows on... supporting the remembered ancestors as they pole up and down the River and flows into the Sea, homeward bound.
Let's work together remembering everyone who has gone before, respecting every person who is parenting, every elder among us and in service of every child in this land united by our presence and our ancestors presence.”
Our hope is that “Every Family” that succeeds gets enough support.
Because “Every Family” deserves to get enough support.

Life
is all there is to it.
C & C
When you feel happy, no one made you do it. You chose to be alone and found happiness there or you chose to do that in the same space where others are choosing to do it too. It is the same with the other true, simple, honest feelings. No one makes you do any of it. We choose to be feeling whatever we find ourselves feeling. We focus our attention on anything else… we will find ourselves having a different feeling. And so it goes. It does not work to blame others for what we are feeling. We can find a place that feels safe. You have created the safety that creates the sensation that you end up calling , “safety”.
Our physical sensation of, "All Is well.", may have some truth, then I may manipulate myself by forming false idea that, "My body will always feel this way." Then the, "All is well.", sensation, will, if I am a healthy human, begin to degrade into the increasingly clear awareness that I am having the sensation, "I am unsafe."
I have damaged my self trust. I will recover as I move toward more safety through self honesty. My physical sensations will begin to feel more reliable.

My Facebook Friends
I am not a praying person. My faith is in my fellow human beings, those folks I am fated to share a hopefully safe enough lifetime with, on this scary planet.
On the other hand, there is no doubt that my current existence on earth I owe to my Twelve Step sisters and brothers who taught me the Serenity Prayer and then taught me how to put a hold on my obsessive self honesty and just say the words that will help me be a little less dangerously impulsive so I may survive into tomorrow and see what I have my faith in tomorrow… one day at a time. I can choose to remember, I am trying for daily survival, not sainthood.
So today an overwhelming need to pray came up on me as I worried about the fighting in the Middle East and our own dangerously contentious election here in the USA. I realized that my urgent need to pray must be given first priority and not waiting for my argumentative self to find consensus with the other part of my argumentative self. I can make a questionable prayer, survive one day at a time, and my split self may catch up soon, perhaps. One Day At A Time.
And here I am in September, 2024. More than 40 years since learning how to use the Serenity prayer as taught to me by the friendly and clear headed 12 step folks.
My Prayer, September 17, 1924
One Day At A Time: Maker of the universe, please grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
And Please, maker of the universe, please help me and my neighbors here in the USA find a new leader that will find a way to love every citizen, legal emergent, legal visitor, refugee trying to be legal, Dreamer and bring increasing safety to us all. And Please help the people of Israel to somehow vote for and select a new leader that can listen with ancient wise ears and love her/his neighbors enough to make a plan for increasing safety, not just for the people of Israel but also somehow make a plan acceptable to all of her neighbors.
Truly
Citizen Of The Universe (In Good Standing.)
