Kind of a mediocre at Fort Steilacoom . Started out ok on the bomber Rhododendron course. Then I struggled in the woods of the NW course. This is one of my favorite places to play in but I can tell I've been sucked into the "I wanna throw far" vortex. Upshots were not great.
Had to stay down there since thought closing both major northbound arteries at the same time was a good idea.
Hey, at least I wasn't quite last in mP50. 😎

Not my best day (again) at . I really gotta get my s**t together. Today, drives were good, putts were OK, upshots were all over. Disc selection is a problem. Had crazy adrenaline for the first 5 holes, like I was still racing triathlon.
I gotta learn to chill and throw like I do when I'm alone.
Anyway, thanks to for the event and for the support. Good to throw with on the round. Gonna have to rally tomorrow.

Possibly my best round ever today at Gold in prep for next week's NXNW tournament.
Not too impressive, only shot even on a long course... But, good for me. Unfortunately it included a long throw in on 15 which isn't repeatable. Loving the new Premier DD3.
Still, good to see consistency and improvement after a couple of weeks feeling lost and playing poorly.
Even got complemented on the hoodie.

Not a good past two weeks.
Dead last in two tournaments last week, and 3 rounds below rating.
Followed up by my worst round in a year or more at for the tag kickoff and a s**t day at day 1 of spring league.
BUT, I at least understand why... I've been working on technique and throwing power. Now I'm pushing stuff too far and burning things over. I need to adjust disc selection and height. It's annoying, yet satisfying progress. I mean I had a +13 round at Gold with 11 OB long throws.
So... I've improved but need to "understand" the improvement.
It's frustrating, yet rewarding in a way.

Good time with a fun card at Only managed to shoot even... But didn't take any mulligans. Figured I'd see if I could hang without... Still donated food though.
Couple of rough rollaways and choked a putt for -3. Still a good day of

Another sloppy weekend of in
Saturday was the Slingin' Singles 4 by with most of the team.
First round was awesome I was 3rd MA1 and made lead card for the second time in two tournaments this year. Also it may have been a 980 round (PDGA is kinda murky on that) which would be my best ever.
BUT, I fumbled it (unlike the ) on round two when the real rain kicked in and I three putted three holes. And ended up 8th with a not good +7 and 863. Yuck! 🤮
Saturday continued the trend with an utterly mediocre Masters of disc golf at Queen E in Vancouver. The course was a bog, I had bad shoes for it, and played dumb on a course that was all about placement, not hero shots. So... 2 below rating rounds. 🤬
BUT... I did finally get on the way back from North Bend and the won so... YAY 🎊🎉🏆
Now... To make an actual practice plan and learn to putt.

Frosty chains for team golf.
Took the solo and doubles wins for the second week. Although we left the doubles will till the last hole. But, a win is a win.
