Wild Whatcom fosters lifelong connections with nature. Outdoor experiences for all ages & abilities. We offer nature outings for all ages.
Our whole person, inquiry-based approach allows people of all skill and experience levels to get curious, silly and reflective outdoors, while making new friends and learning how to be environmental stewards. Program scholarships and free loaner clothing/gear are available! Outings include:
1) K-12: After school, weekend, and summer programs
2) Ages 0-6: Friday and Saturday outings with your adult

It's September, and time for a new location for our Wonder Walks weekly nature outings! Every Friday this month, we'll be exploring fall at Whatcom Falls Park!

Tomorrow is our last Saturday Wild Things, but never fear! Wild Things - our weekly nature program for ages 0-6 and their adults - will continue every Friday morning, 9:30-11:00AM. Next Friday is our first September outing to Whatcom Falls Park. What's on the menu next Tuesday, August 25th? Celebrate summer - or back to school 😉 - with burgers, fries and shakes at the Bellingham Five Guys! Buy something yummy anytime on August 25th, mention Wild Whatcom, and 20% of your order will be donated to our youth program scholarships. These funds allow families in need to give their kids the gift of outdoor adventure and learning, from Nature Preschool to afterschool, weekend programs during the school year, and weekday camps in the summer. How is it the last week of summer camps? Today we welcomed our final groups of campers, and we will be out there together all week, making merry and getting curious about all that nature has to teach us!
