Introducing the very lovely Heidi, AFDB's office manager. She keeps the office humming with her positive vibes and big bright smile. Honestly, we'd all be lost without her. This summer, she can be found relaxing at the beach when she's not keeping us all organized here at the office.

This primary bathroom got a major refresh recently.

Attentive communication and our customer's enthusiasm for design plus expert tiling by our own made for a stunning new space.

On the market for the first time and pending within a couple of days! It just goes to show timeless design never goes out of style.

Just a normal day lifting steel beams over a house, no biggie.

In addition to remodeling this water view home, we also designed and fabricated a dining chandelier utilizing Bocci glass lighting. It mimics the comings and goings of the tides and the sparkle on the water.

Also pictured, a custom mirror (with a Shou Sugi Ban treatment) so that everyone at the table can enjoy the view.

The homeowner at this remodel had a gorgeous 300 year old teak column that they wanted to use in their new living space. They're also a huge fan of Shou Sugi Ban treated wood. We incorporated the two for dramatic effect and to frame the view beyond.

Today begins an occasional series highlighting the stellar people that work at AFDB. And who better to start with than the guy that makes AFDB possible...Alexei! By way of introduction, here's a peek at his design philosphy:

"I’ve always found beauty in many forms, from refined art to the most mundane functional objects. I’ve spent time in mansions, tepees and suburbia, visited museums and galleries worldwide, and have always appreciated the cacophony of textures, colors, and geometry found in any big city’s industrial underbelly."

Now that we've completed this stunning remodel, our focus is redesigning and building the outdoor space.
We do it all: inside and out and top to bottom!
