Icing on the Cake

Do you need some unique entertainment this evening? Strongly encourage you to sn**ch up some of the last tickets to Last Rites! Tonight! Not just ‘cause I have a small role in the production (i can’t pass up a chance to dress up in velvet and pearls), but the show is awesome. It’s dance theater, so the story is told with dancing not dialog and the audience is encouraged to be silent (i don’t know about you, but after a thanks day with my mom’s side of the family i crave quiet). It’s immersive, the audience gets to wander around the theater and see the different skits in different rooms. The storyline is rich and requires you to get into it, a murder mystery told through dance. If you like the arts, please come support this delightful dance theater! Doors at 7pm!

In this smaller kitchen i have the luxury of doing better work. My key lime pie just went up a shelf. The crust was really good before and now it’s made with brown butter.

It’s pie time again!

My new kitchen is so lovely and tight. I am not paying for lots of square footage anymore and neither will you. My menu is gonna shrink, but so are my prices! Like $26 pies!!!! Get some!!!
This year i am not fu***ng with canned pumpkin. Only real pumpkins fresh from the earth. They’re so much better it’s worth all the work. There will be lots of local organic apple pies too, but sadly no berry this year. The key lime will not quit, it’s too good, i wont judge if you order two. The crust on the chocolate cream is going up all the levels, i’ll be crushing my chocolate chip cookies and making the crust with that. (i love you too Latoya!)

This weekend i’ll be helping out one of my old neighbors! In the alley on the opposite side of flora street from my old bakery is Genny’s Costume Closet! I’ll be there with my excellent taste to help you shop for sick fits or halloween costumes. I’m totally bringing free cookies, for after shopping only- Genny does not want chocolate chip cookie smudges on her clothes! Haha💜
