This one was a fun project from start to finish. Clean lines, thoughtful details, and a whole lot of intention packed into a compact footprint. High-performance assemblies, durable materials, and a design that feels both modern and timeless. Exactly the kind of work we love doing.

Projects like this are a reminder that building well isn’t about excess, it’s about clarity, care, and doing the hard parts right so the building quietly does its job for decades to come.

Peeling back the layers 🪚✨

Remodels on old houses are my favorite kind of adventure. Sure, they’re a ton of work, but every wall feels like a Time Machine. This one had layers on layers of DIY patching, and deep inside we uncovered some cool circa-1920s wallpapers and even the old coal/wood hatch.

Excited to get our new Sunnyland project underway and breathe fresh life into this piece of history!

Sneak peek from today’s work: our team is giving new life to a classic Craftsman in the Columbia neighborhood with a clean window retrofit. Sometimes the smaller details make the biggest difference—this one will keep the character while boosting comfort and efficiency.

Siding is finally going up. We’re only a few panels in, but already stoked on how this is turning out. This high-performance DADU in Bellingham is getting the full treatment—continuous exterior insulation, meticulous air sealing, and sharp vertical metal cladding. It’s coming together even better than we imagined.
