Thai food is one of my top three favorite cuisines, so when Jeanie asked if I could cook it for her wedding, I jumped at the chance. This chicken satay with peanut sauce is simple yet delicious with an exciting flavor profile. It’s always a hit with the most adventurous to the pickiest of eaters.

Catering for Lydia Place’s benefit dinner last night was such an honor, not to mention fun! I was thrilled to be able to work with a local nonprofit that has a mission I believe in, as well as a pleasant bunch of people. Pictured is a Mediterranean soup, quinoa salad and paella in a traditional and vegan style.

Looking forward to catering for their director’s meeting in a few weeks, too!

I’m not sure whether to stare at the dress or those sheep! Molly wanted a quiet, country setting so I worked hard to find this venue off the beaten path at Fairstead Ranch in Mount Vernon, Washington. The scenery was so serene and, uh, there’s sheep - come on. The lace detail on the dress and impeccable pairing of accessories was all her, though.
