I bake delicious organic sourdough bread and offer it to my community at no charge. Give your love. We live in a world so divided by opinions.
Generous neighbors take the money they would have spent on bread at the store and give money, time or effort instead. All of us seem to have them in abundance and enjoy sharing with whoever will listen. I am not sure it's going to heal the world. Nor am I suggesting that my bread baking will do much at all. But the time and love that I invest in DOING instead of talking may touch someone at the right time, and for them, make a difference. That is my prayer and my delight.

Hey Everyone
I will have 2 loaves of bread available for you THURSDAY. Claim ASAP, please.
This Saturday I will be making Blueberry Almond (Almond extract and finely chopped) scones - VEGAN style. No Milk, no cream, no butter.
Made with high quality and freshly pressed olive oil.
The texture will probably be slightly different, but I am making a slow commitment to reducing dairy products (of which I have been an ENORMOUS fan all my life). Although a vegetarian almost all my life, I was only a vegan for like 5 years - mainly because I loved all the protein I could get from dairy.
I wasn't killing the animal so I thought it was ok if not optimal.
But then I discovered that was not true. And now I am wrestling with my decisions.
So for the foreseeable future, I will still make things that you special order and want with dairy products, but my regular offerings will begin to reflect a "goodbye dairy" sentiment. I know it won't be 100% yet, but it's a start.
Fortunately for all of us - Daily Bread, Ciabatta Bread, Baguettes, and all sorts of bread I make have no dairy or dairy substitutes whatsoever!

Lol! Getting ready to launch Snagit Baguettes- these are crunchy, airy and hmmm tasty BUT
they are fat. 😪🤔🤸♀️
Todays shaping didn't go so well. So a couple of misfits. 🤗🤗🤗
Just so happens I love misfits!!!! Generic is boring. Perfect a snore!
So I am celebrating warm baguettes...that are more fresh bread loaves than baguettes.
Next Friday I hope to launch the Snagit Baquettes and have model thin beauties to offer. ❤❤
